Born and raised in the small town of New Paltz, New York. After graduating High School early and diving into a major in Journalism, it was quickly revealed that she was not telling stories from the right angle.
She went on to study at The William Esper Studio, a New York based acting conservatory, where she trained with Bruce McCarty and Suzanne Esper. A string of projects followed including Black Footnotes, a play by Award Winning Director Rajendra Ramoon Maharaj, marking Ebony's introduction to the stage at the Nuyorican Poet's Cafe in 2015, Tough Love, a digital series nominated for Outstanding Digital Daytime Drama Series at the 2017 Daytime Emmy's, Netflix’ Master of None Season 2, "Thanksgiving" episode, which went on to win Best Writing at the 2017 Primetime Emmy Awards.
Ebony is set to appear in Director Barry Jenkins film adaptation of If Beale Street Could Talk, based on the novel by acclaimed Writer James Baldwin, marking her first role in a major motion picture. She has also been tapped to recur in Jordan Peele’s The Hunt on Amazon and Wu-Tang: An American Saga on Hulu.
